Community Standards

The Community standards are a set of rules and guidelines that govern the use of our services, including our Discord bot Ivy, our website, and all irisCORE games. These standards are designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for all users.

Section 1: General Expectations

1. You must follow these standards, our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and the rules of any platform our services run on.
2. Use the services as intended, in good faith, and in a manner that does not violate any applicable laws or regulations.
3. You must meet the minimum age required by the platform you’re using:
   • irisCORE Web Services: 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country)
   • Discord: 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country)
   • Roblox: any age
4. You are responsible for activities that occur on your account and for anything you submit or say through our services. You must not share your account with anyone else, and you must not allow anyone else to use your account.
5. Staff decisions are made to keep our community safe and enjoyable for everyone. Raise disagreements through the appeal process in Section 8, not in public channels.

Section 2: Treatment of Others

1. Treat others with respect. Harassment, bullying, or any form of abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.
2. Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
   • We define discrimination as any action or behaviour that treats someone unfairly or unequally based on their gender, gender identity and/or expression; race or perceived race, ethnic or cultural origin; sexual orientation; physical characteristics; mental or physical disability or disease; religion or religious affiliation; political beliefs; language; national origin; etc.
3. Do not threaten, intimidate, or encourage violence or self-harm against anyone, including yourself.
4. Do not share your own or others’ private information.
5. Do not impersonate others, staff members, or irisCORE.
6. Adult content, sexual harassment, and sexual solicitation are not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to, sexual content in usernames, profile pictures, or messages.
7. Good-faith disagreement and criticism of our games are welcome, hate and personal attacks are not.

Section 3: Content Standards

Applies to anything you post, upload, name, or otherwise share through our services.

1. No illegal content, or content that promotes illegal activity.
2. All NSFW (not safe for work), adult, or sexual content is prohibited.
3. No graphic content, including gore, mutilation, or other content that is intended to shock or disgust.
4. No hate symbols, slurs, or extremist content, including content that promotes or glorifies violence, terrorism, or hate groups.
5. No content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others, including copyright, trademark, or patent rights.
6. Any content that involves minors is strictly prohibited. irisCORE will report illegal content involving minors to the appropriate authorities.

Section 4: Fair Play and Game Integrity

Applies to all irisCORE games.

1. No cheating, hacking, exploiting bugs, or using unauthorized third-party software to gain an unfair advantage in our games.
2. Report bugs and exploits to us immediately. Do not share them with others or use them to gain an advantage.
3. You must not share, trade, buy, or sell your account or any in-game items, currency, or services for real-world money or other items of value.
4. No reverse engineering, decompiling, or tampering with game files or code, except where the law permits.
5. Do not disrupt others’ play, for example by griefing, spamming, or intentionally causing lag or crashes.
6. The use of bots, scripts, or other automated tools to play our games is prohibited. This includes macros and auto-clickers.

Section 5: Using Ivy and Our Website

1. Do not spam or flood our services with excessive messages, requests, or other content.
2. Do not attempt to exploit, hack, scrape, or probe Ivy, the website, or any irisCORE services.
3. Do not use our services to harass, spam, advertise, or promote third-party services or products without our permission.
4. Do not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with our services, except where explicitly allowed by us.

Section 6: Spam, Advertising, and Scams

1. Do not spam or flood our chats or channels.
2. No advertising, self-promotion, invites, or referral links without staff permission.
3. Do not engage in scams, phishing, or any other fraudulent activity. This includes fake giveaways and impersonation of staff or irisCORE.
4. No asking for or sharing passwords, items, or payment information. This includes asking for or sharing Roblox accounts, Robux, or other in-game items.

Section 7: Reporting and Enforcement

1. Make reports through our Discord server or contact form.
2. Do not make false or malicious reports.
3. Actions we may take, depending on severity and history: a warning, content removal, a mute or timeout, restricted access to features, a kick, a temporary ban, or a permanent ban from Ivy, Discord servers, the website or games.
4. Severe violations (illegal content, threats, doxxing, child safety) may result in an immediate permanent ban and referral to law enforcement or the platform.
5. We may act on behaviour outside our services if it directly affects the safety of our community.
6. Evading a ban (e.g. with alternate accounts) will result in further, more severe action.

Section 8: Appeals

1. You can appeal an enforcement action by contacting us through our Discord server or contact form.
2. Include your username, the action taken, and any relevant information.
3. Appeals will be reviewed by staff, and we will respond as soon as possible. We may not respond to every appeal, especially if the action was severe or if the appeal is not made in good faith.
4. Some actions, such as those issued in response to illegal content are not eligible for appeal. We will inform you if this is the case.
